Ruhl, Nancy Lea
Nancy Lea Ruhl, 59, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness. A visitation and celebration of Nancy's life will be today from 1 to 5 p.m. at LaRee's home, 1139 Center Point Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids.
Nancy was born Jan. 24, 1952, at Great Lakes, Ill., to Arthur and Helen (Frerichs) Ruhl.
Nancy enjoyed watching movies and loved music and shopping. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends and with her Chihuahua “Paco.”
She is survived by her son, Brian (Lisa) Ruhl of Moline, Ill.; her brother, Robert (Shirley) Ruhl of Andover, Ill.; her stepfather, Bernard J. Johnson of Moline, Ill.; and her niece, Angela (Christopher) Gaul of McCausland, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of arrangements.
