Rubner, Eleanor H.
Eleanor H. Rubner, 93, a resident of the Good Neighbor Home, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, by the Rev. John Flaherty. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Manchester, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Additional visitation one hour before services Wednesday at the church on Wednesday. Burial: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
Eleanor is survived by one son, Paul (Jane) Rubner of Masonville; four daughters, Carol Ross of Manchester, Wilma Stallman of Watkins, Jane (Drew) Trott of Winthrop, andJulie (Terry) Main of Muscatine; two sons-in-law, John Murphy and Merle Cole; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eileen Kramer, Angie Jaeger and Kay (Don) Link; two brothers, John (Grace) Wolfe, and Ronald (Jeanne) Wolfe; and one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wolf.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Les in 1980; and two daughters, Janet Cole and Mary Murphy; two sons-in-law, Doug Ross and Donald Stallman; two grandchildren, David Ross and Andrea Main; three sisters, Wilma, Florence and LauraBell; and four brothers, Charles, William, Urban and Leon.
