Rowray, Christopher James
Christopher James Rowray, 36, of 1129 20th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010. Memorial services: 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12, at River of Life Ministries, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Ronald Rafferty. The family will greet friends and relatives during a time of fellowship following the service.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Terri Rowray, and his sisters, Alysia and Tabitha, all of Shepherdsville, Ky.; brother, Kevin (Jacque) Rowray of Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Dorothy Corine Ogden and Norman and Doris Rowray; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and a special nephew, Levi.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Ogden; and uncle, Dennis Rowray.
Born June 13, 1974, in Cedar Rapids, Chris was the son of Jim and Terri (Ogden) Rowray.
Chris enjoyed reading, fishing, bowling and spending time on his computer.
Chris was a loving, caring individual who enjoyed spending time with his family and was a great help to his grandparents. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial fund has been established in Chris' memory.
