Rouse, Christopher C.
Christopher C. Rouse, 26, of Independence, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at his home.
Chris was born May 30, 1984, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Carol A. Franz and Tony R. Rouse. He attended East Buchanan schools and graduated from Independence High School in 2002. He was currently attending Kirkwood Community College's Fire Service program in Cedar Rapids.
He was a member of Quasqueton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Quasqueton.
He is survived by his mother, Carol A. Franz and friend Lynn Henkle, Independence; his father, Tony (Dawn) Rouse, Independence; and his paternal grandparents, Russell and Marilyn Rouse, Independence.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Franz.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. John Hougen officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to services Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Independence.
