Roundtree, Latasha Nicole

Latasha Nicole Roundtree, 19, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Gospel Tabernacle Church by Pastor Cymaron Dawson. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Teahen Funeral Home and Saturday after 10 a.m. at the church.

Latasha is survived by her father, Reginald; seven siblings, Lorenzo Roundtree, Latrice Roundtree, Reginald Williams and Rashawn Williams, all of Chicago, Rondesha Roundtee, Rolando Roundtree, and Raina Roundtree, all of Cedar Rapids; her grandmother, Mary Roundtree of Chicago; two stepbrothers, Iregous Parks and Darryl Monroe, both of Chicago; three great-nieces, Ireonna, Ireshia Parks, and Octavia Roundtree; great-auntie, LaToyia Towns; and cousins, Frank and Steven Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Angela.

Latasha was born Nov. 8, 1992, in Chicago, the daughter of Reginald Williams and Angela Roundtree. She attended McKinley Middle School and graduated from Washington High School in 2012. She was currently enrolled at William Penn University in Oskaloosa.

Latasha was a fun loving person who was known for her warm smile and love of basketball.
