Rosita M. Pierce, 77, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, December 22nd 2025. The family will be holding a private celebration of life.
Survivors include her sister Donna Olson of Bedias TX, her brothers Roger and Doug Wolfe of Cedar Rapids; also surviving are her three children, Kimberly Sutterfield, Jonathan and William Downer of Cedar Rapids; as well as her many grandchildren and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dexter Wolfe, and her husband of 33 years, Franklin M. Pierce.
Rosita M. Pierce was born on January 15th, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, IA, daughter of Dexter and Rosita Wolfe. She was a proud Army veteran, loyal wife, loving mother and a faithful friend.
Mom, you will be missed today and everyday.
