Rosemary Fessler Hillers Bosler, 83, of Manchester, died at the River Bend Retirement Center in Cascade on Friday, July 25, 2014.
She was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Dubuque, the daughter of Herman and Rose (Schiltz) Fessler. Rosemary grew up on a farm near Oneida and attended Oneida Consolidated School.
On Jan. 2, 1949, Rose-mary was united in marriage to Walter Hillers. Ten children were born to this union. They lived in Shullsburg, Wis., for two years after their marriage, then moved to Iowa and farmed in the Earlville area. In 1983, they retired and moved to Delhi. Walter died March 16, 2002. Rosemary was united in marriage to Marvin Bosler on April 12, 2003. They resided in Manchester until Marvin's death in 2013.
Rosemary was an Avon representative for many years. She loved to garden and was known for her flowers, especially her dahlias. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester.
Survivors include nine children, Linda Bevins of Coggon, Bob (Joyce) Hillers of Guttenberg, Ric (Jane) Hillers of Manchester, Ron (Karen) Hillers of Guttenberg, Sandy Demmer of Platteville, Wis., Deb (Alan) Heims of Dyersville, Mark Hillers of Edgewood, and Renee (Ken) Davidshofer and Lisa (Mark) Kramer, both of Earlville; 19 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, plus four on the way; two sisters, LouAnn (Jim) Lindow of Kiel, Wis., and Marilyn (Bill) Reimer of Garnavillo; sisters-in-law, Betsy Fessler of Earlville, Lillian Hillers, Muriel Hillers, and Marlene Reth, all of Manchester, and Marilyn (Roger) Marvel of Glenwood; stepdaughter-in-law, Diane Bosler of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Walter Hillers and Marvin Bosler; a son, Jon Hillers, in infancy; a brother, Robert Fessler; a stepson, Bryan Bosler; and three brothers-in-law, Martin Hillers, Raymond Hillers, and Donald Reth.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, by the Rev. John Kremer. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, where there will be a 2 p.m. Scripture service. Also friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment: St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Delhi.
