Rose Ann Koopmann, 84,

of Delhi, passed away at home on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017. Visitation will be at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Monday, Nov. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church.

Rose was born Jan. 30, 1933, the daughter of Peter and Katherine (Kurt) Hosch. She married John E. Koopman on June 18, 1953.

Rose was a loving mother of 11 children. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Rose was an active member of St. John Catholic Church, the guild and Delhi Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children, Carol (Frank) O'Connell, Joseph Koopmann, Julie (Alan) Metternich, Susan (Steve) Nadermann, Marla (Jim) Finck, Joan (Gregg) Peters, John P. (LaRae) Koopmann, James (Sharon) Koopmann, Mary (David) LaMar and Jeff Koopmann; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Katherine Knipper; and sisters-in-law, Lois Hosch, Julie Hosch, Grace Droeszler and Jean Oberfoell.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Peter; two grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, with the Rev. John Kremer officiating. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, with a Scripture service at 8 p.m., followed by the rosary. Friends also may call one hour before Mass on Monday at the church. Interment: St. John Catholic Cemetery, Delhi.
