The celebration of life for Rosanne C. Freeburg will be held on March 9 at 6 p.m. at St. Francis United Methodist Church (SFUMC) in Cary, N.C.
Rosanne was born to William and Anne Geldert on Aug. 2, 1927. She passed away Feb. 9, 2017, at the age of 89.
Rosanne was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Gordon N. Freeburg; eldest daughter, Ruth Anne Freeburg; parents; sister, Elayne Ludescher; and nieces, Rosanne (Judy) Clark and Carol Richter.
She is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one niece. Rosanne was very passionate about education, music, church, and especially her family.
Rosanne was among the happiest people you would ever meet. She loved to travel, especially with her family. Music, education and the church were essential parts of her life. She lived life as she knew and sang it: "I Love Life and I want to Live!"
Her family was the most important thing to her. She loved every one of them and would say "I'm so lucky. I have the BEST children!"
Three was Rosanne's favorite number, so we are going to celebrate her life on March 9 at 6 p.m. at St. Francis UMC, Cary.
