Ronald O. Vrooman, 78, of Sun City, Ariz., passed away on May 15, 2015. He was born on Feb. 8, 1937, in Anamosa, Iowa, and grew up in Olin, Iowa. He moved to Phoenix in 1963.
Ron is survived by his wife, Gwenn; son, Scott Vrooman (Vicky); daughter, Abbey Penning (John); sister, Mary Levsen; and three grandchildren.
Ron was an R&D Electronic Lab Technician at Honeywell Flight Systems for over 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and camping. He was well loved and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
A celebration of his life will be held in Sun City, Ariz.
