Ronald Robert Smith entered into eternal rest on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at his home in Maricopa, Ariz.
Ron was a 1979 graduate of Cedar Rapids Prairie. He was a diehard Vikings fan, an avid sports collector and fan, a husband, son, brother, father and friend. However, his favorite and proudest title was Grandpa.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Marlin "Bob" Smith; his aunt, Debbie; uncles, Tom and Ronald; and his wife, Sheryl.
He is survived by his mother, Jan; brother, Lonnie; and sister, Lisa; as well as his eldest daughter, Ashley (Daniel) and their sons, Ryan and Eric; daughter, Megan; stepdaughters, Nicole (Patrick) and their daughter, Payton, and Natalie (Andrew) and their son, Liam.
Ron was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
