RONALD (BRUNO) SCHMITT

Ronald (Bruno) Schmitt, 58, died of a heart attack Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at his home in Fountain Hills, Ariz. His body was donated to Science Care in Phoenix.
He was born Nov. 9, 1958, the son of JoAnn and the late Charles Schmitt. He graduated from Washington High School in 1977.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Schmitt of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Randy of Colorado, Rick (Marin) of Swisher, Rory of Cedar Rapids and Rian (Janet) of Marion; nephew, Joseph Schmitt; three nieces, Kelsey, Kiley and Sarah Schmitt; and great-niece, McKenna Burns.
A memorial service is planned for the family at a later date.
