Ronald “Ron” Eugene Frost, 59, of Cedar Rapids died Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha after a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton by the Rev. Gary Mayer. Burial will be held at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church after 10 a.m. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Ron is survived by two sons, Jeff and Jason Frost; grandchildren, Hailey, Jaikub, Heidi-Jo Frost and Kaden Hubbell; parents, Gerald and Rosemary Frost; sister, Wanda (Dave) Terry; five brothers, Steven (Lisa), Don (Karen), Kenneth (Nina), Paul and Robert (Michelle); and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was born on Aug. 20, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Gerald and Rosemary Sawyer Frost. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1981. Ron worked at Whirlpool in Amana for many years and also was in property management.
Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, being outdoors, going to the casino and spending time with his dog, Peanut. Above all, he loved time with his family and grandkids, and will be deeply missed.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
