RONALD ROBINSON Hiawatha Ronald L. Robinson, 72, of Hiawatha, Iowa, died Friday, May 15, 2015, in his home. As per Ron's wishes, there will be no service or viewing. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Ron was born July 31, 1942, in Cedar Rapids to his parents, Raymond F. Robinson and Georgia (Mahring) Robinson. He graduated from Jefferson School and worked for the Cedar Rapids Water Department until retiring after 37+ years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and life. He is survived by his very significant other, Deborah Barron, who has been his loving life partner providing the care and support needed; daughter, Marna (James) Rocarek and grandchildren, Sam, Marlie, Corey, Shellsie and Shaidyn; son, Daniel and granddaughter, Ashley; brother, Larry (Deanna); sister, Marilyn Clements; and many nieces and nephews.
