Ronald Lester Seiler, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025. Born on May 20, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, he was the beloved son of Martha Divish and Lester Joseph Seiler.
On November 7, 1959, Ron married the love of his life, Kay Kaiser, in Garrison, Iowa. Together, they built a life grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering support—a marriage that spanned over six decades.
Ron was a devoted father to his three children: Todd Seiler and his wife Becky of Evans, Colorado; Terri Bahr and her husband Jeff of Garrison, Iowa; and Carri Brown and her husband Scot of Wiggins, Colorado. He was a beloved grandfather to ten grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to numerous great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride.
A skilled woodworker, Ron found joy in creating with his hands—crafting beautiful furniture, keepsakes, and lasting memories for those he loved. He was a proud and active member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, where he upheld the values of service, integrity, and brotherhood. Ron also served as a Rainbow Dad for more than 10 years, offering guidance and support to countless young people through the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Deeply committed to his community, Ron served on many local boards and organizations throughout his life, always striving to make a positive impact and help those around him.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, sense of humor, warm heart, and the legacy of love and craftsmanship he leaves behind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Allene Seiler. Ron is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brother Allen Seiler of Palo, Iowa.
A service, with Masonic memorial, to honor his memory will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan, CO which is located at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1100 W Platte Ave., Fort Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Hospice of the Plains or Wiggins Fire and Ambulance Service in Ron’s name.
