RONALD L. "TEX" HEITMANN
South Amana
Ronald L. "Tex" Heitmann, 73, of South Amana, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, doing what he loved, surrounded by the friends he loved. Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Main Amana Church Fellowship Hall, Main Amana. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at the Main Amana Church, Main Amana, with Elder Kristie Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the South Amana Cemetery with military honors. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Masks are required to be worn within the Main Amana Church.
Ron is survived by his wife, Deb; a daughter, Elise (Trin) of Main Amana; a sister, Rhonda of South Amana; a sister-in-law, Judy of Reno, Nev.; his mother-in-law, Mary L. of Homestead; a brother-in-law, Gary (Mary), of Upper South Amana; a niece, Julia (Bryce) of East Amana; and a nephew, William (Jamie), of Homestead.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard; father-in-law, Jerry; a brother-in-law, Steven; and a nephew, Ryan.
