Ronald F. Bloxham, 89 of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 29, 2024 at his home. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Phelps Cemetery in Decorah. Teahen Funeral Home is caring for Ronald and his family.
Ronald is survived by his two sons, Ronald “Bud” (Jo) Bloxham of Cedar Rapids and Gary (Victoria) Bloxham of Hiawatha; three grandchildren, Nick, Jessica (Jacob) and Dustin (Anna); five great-grandchildren, Louden, Gage, Adalyn, Brinley and Ruby; and sister, Lorna (George) Miller of Ely.
Ronald was preceded in death by wife Marilyn in 2000; four brothers, James, Charles, Keith and Richard; and a sister, Betty May.
Ronald Frank Bloxham was born on May 27, 1934 son of Clarence Oscar and Delaney Mildred (Ruckharber) Bloxham. He proudly served in the United States Army. Ronald was united into marriage to Marilyn Gay Noecker on September 11, 1955 in Waukon. He was a maintenance mechanic for many years until he retired.
Ronald enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, collecting toys and refurbishing them, driving on Sundays with his fun car, a 1963 Riviera, and most of all loved spending time with family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a charity of their choosing in his name.
