RONALD BRUCE LEFTWICH
Roseburg, Ore.
Ronald Bruce Leftwich was born on May 7, 1945, and passed away on Dec. 30, 2017, in Roseburg, Ore. He left behind a wife, Denise, and three stepchildren whom he raised from infancy to adulthood.
Ronald was born in Cresco, Iowa, to Lester Odeal Leftwich and Margaret Bridgett (Biever) Leftwich. Ron attended All Saints elementary school and Regis High School in Cedar Rapids, and earned his teacher certification at Long Beach State College in California.
His passion in life was teaching middle school children, which he did for 37 years before his recent move to Oregon. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
There is a lot more that could be told about this wonderful person, but those who knew him already have the good memories. Services will be held at a later date and an announcement will come then.
