Rogers, Jerrie W.
Jerrie W. Rogers, 75, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City following a sudden illness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Rudolph Juarez officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City, where a vigil service will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kris Rogers Cancer Research Fund or the Kris Rogers Athletic Scholarship Fund, c/o University of Iowa Foundation, or to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
