Roger peacefully passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his wife of 58 years and his daughter in Sacramento, Calif.
Roger was born to Roland and Elnora Brunssen in Keystone, Iowa, the eldest
of 11.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry; and sister, Karen.
He is survived by his wife, Fran (Grafft); daughter, Beth Ann Morse (Bradley); granddaughter, Becca Ann Lewis (Brian); two great-grandchildren, Ellie Ann and Roger Criag; eight siblings, Jerald, Shirley, Sherman, Sandra, Bonnie, Gary, Rick and Pat; and loving in-laws, family and friends.
Roger proudly served in U.S. Air Force for 22 years and then 21 years for civilian contractors. Roger enjoyed bowling, golfing, SIRs and traveling.
Roger was a faithful member of Cordova Lutheran Church, Rancho Cordova, Calif., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 19.
In lieu of flowers, Roger specifically requested donations be made to your favorite charity.
