Roger Lee Hall, 79, of Malcom, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at Brooklyn Community Estate in Brooklyn, Iowa, following a recent battle with cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at the Holiday Lake Community Center, Brooklyn, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 1:30 p.m.

Roger was born April 6, 1936, to Suzanne (Fauver) and Clarke Hall Sr. of Brooklyn, Iowa. In 1954, Roger graduated from Brooklyn High School and married Joan Marie Goodrich. Roger was a livestock and grain farmer for 58 years.
Roger is survived by his wife, Joan; daughter, Regina (Duane) Hendrickson of Stanhope; sister, Mary Ogata of Grinnell; son-in-law, Richard Siek of Blairstown; four grandchildren, Heather Siek, Des Moines, Aaron (Abby) Siek, Blairstown, Hillary (Andy) Eckert, Ames, and Spencer (Cristina) Hendrickson, Chicago; and three great-grandchildren, Owen Siek, Valek Shilling and Taryn Eckert.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Sheryl Siek and Carla Hall; and brother, Clarke Hall Jr.
