Roger Lynn Clarke, 63, of Oelwein, passed away March 6, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Jessica (Ron) Lovell and Jake (Anna); a stepdaughter, Sherry; a brother, Loyal; a nephew, Chris (Traci); and three grandchildren, Kaylie, Cameron Emma and one (William), due in May.
He was preceded in death by his father, William; and mother, Evelyn.
Roger was born June 11, 1950, in Rockford, Ill. He graduated from Prairie High School, Cedar Rapids, and obtained an A.A.S. degree at Kirkwood Community College. He also attended Iowa State University and Mount Mercy College.
Roger was a black belt at Jung's Tae Kwon Do and started Northwest Iowa Tae Kwon Do in Garnavillo. He recently received his 7th degree black belt from Jung's.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and his family most of all. He worked as a public works director and co-owned a construction business with his brother.
