Rodney James Rieken, 86, of Union, Mo., formerly of Monticello, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018. An honor guard service was held Jan. 12 in Union. Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, Monticello.
Survivors include his wife, Alice (Herren) Rieken; and children, Annie Rieken, Lynn Boresi and Christine Winchester.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruth Rieken Ratican.
