Rodgers, Dean Charles
Dean Charles Rodgers died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at his home near Wellman at the age of 68 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jan; two children, Steven Duane (Colleen) Rodgers and Dena Diane (Cameron) Davis, all of Wellman; nine grandchildren, Everett, Hazel, Henry, Wendell, Oliver and a baby Rodgers, due in January, Caleb, Cole and Sidney Davis; a sister, Vernene (Gary) Lenz of Glyndon, Md.; and four brothers, Blaine (Gayle) Rodgers of Denver, Colo., Wayne (Marylou) Rodgers of Mount Pleasant, Richard (Mwansa) Rodgers of Tiffin and Allen Rodgers of Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman. A private family burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman.
A general memorial has been established.
