Robinson, Susan Nadine

Susan Nadine Robinson, 52, of Anamosa, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Central City. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Laurie Riley will officiate at the service. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa.

Survivors include her husband, George Jr. Robinson; eight children, Derrick (Andrea) Petersen of Marion, Devon (Quinton) Bitner of Central City, Cody Robinson of Anamosa, Jessica Robinson of Central City, George (Kristen) Robinson III of Lisbon, Bruce Robinson of Iowa City, Lynn Robinson of Monticello and Melissa (Nathan) McCormick of Anamosa; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Sandy Hoffman of Delhi; two brothers, Dave Hoffman of Monticello and Richard Hoffman of Ryan; and an aunt, Velva Zirkelbach of Lisbon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Susan was born Nov. 20, 1961, in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Alan and Reva (Taylor) Hoffman. On Feb. 24, 1995, Susan and George Robinson were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Susan work as a medical technician at Edinburgh Manor in rural Anamosa for many years.
