Robin Melody Rupert went to Heaven to be with her Saviour on Thursday, June 15, 2023. A gathering of family and close friends has already been held. A memorial gathering may take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Robin was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Aug. 14, 1976, the daughter of John and Kathy (Miller) Rupert. Robin was blessed with a son, Orion Johnathon Rupert, and was a devoted, loving mother. She lived on her “Gram’s” farm (Ethel Miller) near Hiawatha, Iowa, for many years, and attended New Covenant Bible Church. Robin was a very talented artist, she graduated from Kirkwood College with degrees in business and floral design. She worked as the office manager for her son’s company, Orion’s Odd Jobs, and helped grow the business.
Robin is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Orion Rupert (Justice Grace); parents, Kathy Miller, and John (Joyce) Rupert; brother, Marty Rupert; nieces, Kasi and Alexandria Rupert; Orion’s father, Tom McKinley; and aunt, Neena Miller.
Robin will be greatly missed by all who knew her as a kind, caring and fun-loving friend.
