Robin D. (Dyer) Klein, 68, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a noble fight with cancer, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at the Legacy Center at Murdoch - Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Robin was born on Feb. 2, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Alice (Fields) Dyer. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Cedar Rapids and went on to attend Stewarts Cosmetology School in Nebraska. Robin was a hair stylist for over 30 years. She had a love for pets, ’50s music, classic movies, singing, and spending time with her family and her faith in Jesus. Robin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Robin is survived and lovingly remembered by her children, Shannon (Jason) Chapman of Fairview, Tenn., and Chad (Rhonda) Klein of Springville, Iowa; grandchildren, Danika Klein, Alexa, Olivia, and Elijah Chapman; brother, Arthur Dyer of Marion, Iowa; sister, Jan (Rich) Kounkel of Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Dyer; and grandson, Drake Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy for their care of Robin, especially Kristi, Darcie, Linda, and Casey.
