Robertson, Nancy Lee (Mrs. Neal)
Nancy Lee (Mrs. Neal) Robertson, 86, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Jones County Regional Medical Center in Anamosa, following a brief illness. A private service was held Sept. 20 with interment at Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa.
She was the daughter of William Greeley Davenport and Laura Sisk Davenport. Nancy was born in Anamosa in 1927. She graduated from Anamosa High School in 1945. She attended the University of Dubuque. In 1947, she married Neal (Buck) Robertson. Nancy was a mother, homemaker and a farmer. After her children were grown she was a study hall monitor in the Cedar Rapids and Springville public schools. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Anamosa. Nancy was an avid bridge player, a great dancer, a Women's Bible Study Group member and a lifelong Republican.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Mrs. Barry) Perlmutter of Henderson, Nev.; her two sons, Mark Robertson and his wife, Jackie of Anamosa and Matthew Robertson and his wife, Barbara of East Hartford, Conn.; one brother, Buster Davenport of Anamosa; one sister, Jane (Mrs. Robert) Liddy of Davenport; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal; her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
