Roberts, Lois Jean
Lois Jean Roberts, 79, of Iowa City, died peacefully Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clincs. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City.
Lois was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Iowa City, the daughter of Rudolph and Mary Kost Kindl. She was a graduate of City High School.
Lois was a waitress at the University of Iowa Athletic Club for many years and had also done home health care. She liked to garden, can and cook, hunt mushrooms and go fishing with family.
Survivors include her children, William, Susan, Diana, David and Dawn; 10 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 siblings.
