Roberts, Joanne L.
Joanne L. Roberts, 72, of Jesup, died of cancer Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at White Funeral Home, Jesup, where visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial: Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup.
She was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Marietta, Ohio, the daughter of Robert Seffens and Alice Ruth (Mellor) Seffens.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by one daughter, Sherry (Don) Even of Dike; two sons, Danny (Cheryl) Roberts of Cedar Rapids and Donnie (Kim) Roberts of Jesup; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Claire Seffens of Marshalltown.
Her husband, Neal Roberts (Aug. 19, 2005), and parents preceded her in death.
