Robert Kevin Wullner, 53, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. The family will be having a Celebration of Life service Friday, July 17, at the Riverside Shelter in Pinicon Ridge Park. The family will greet friends starting at 3 p.m. The family will be having a pot luck style celebration and provide pulled pork sandwiches. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Wullner of Cedar Rapids; children, Bobby (Amber) Wullner of Hiawatha, Casey (Kelly) Wullner of Cedar Rapids and Anthony (Megan) Wullner of Ely; adopted daughter, Kelly Jo Wullner of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Kiley, Morgan, Evelyn, Taylor, Sienna, Xander and Charlize; siblings, Terri and Michael; and stepfather, Ron Karr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Douglas.
Kevin was born on Nov. 29, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert Wullner and Barbara Karr. On Aug. 20, 1983, he married Elizabeth Belle Leichliter in Cedar Rapids. Kevin was a procrastinating perfectionist and loved to work with his hands. He worked for Junge and took pride in being a senior master mechanic. Kevin was obsessed with his grandchildren and loved to get manicures from his daughter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and telling stories. His family and friends were the most important part of his life. He left with a lot of unfinished
