Robert "Bob" E. Webber, 84, of rural Palo, died Sat-urday, April 26, 2014, in his home following a long illness. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 30, at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, where friends may visit with the family from 4 to
7 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Covington, at a later date.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Camilla; children, Larry (Bert) of Tama, Colleen Lewis of Cedar Rapids, Steven (Crystal) of Palo and Donald of Palo; grandchildren, Matthew Lewis and Lori Barrett and Sean and Nicholas Webber; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Webber.
Bob was born Sept. 25, 1929, in Marion, the son of Elmer Leroy and Margaret Clara Lippert Webber. He married
Camilla Grace Buker on April 9, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. He worked in sheet metal maintenance at Quaker Oats for 16 years, retiring in 1990.
Bob served his country in the Navy Reserves. He was a member of Mason's Lodge No. 364 in Fairfax. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being with family and friends.
