Robert Wayne Nebendahl passed away on June 11, 2025, from a semi accident on June 1, 2025. He passed away at the University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City.
Services and Interment will be held privately. Robert was born on December 23, 1955, in Vinton to Melvin and Mary Ann (Walton) Nebendahl. Robert was employed by Farr Trucking of Iowa City. Robert loved trucking and making items for his home and the yard.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kit Kay (Haack) whom he married May 25, 1985, in Nashau, Iowa; Siblings, Dennis (Barb) Nebendahl. Merlin Nebendahl, and Bev (Mark) Witmer: Nephews, Randy (Krista) Nebendahl and Brian Nebendahl; and dear friends, Jim Farr, Kathy Farr and Jamie Farr. Robert leaves behind his beloved dogs, Angel, Oscar and Dolly.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ron Nebendahl, Marvin Nebendahl and an infant brother Terry Nebendahl.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
