Robert John Vorwald, 88, of Edgewood, died while farming on the family farm near Edgewood on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Germaine Vorwald of Edgewood; his four children, Patricia (Lyle) Chittick of Anthem, Ariz., Mike (Jean) Vorwald of Manchester, Jeff "Burly" (Brenda) Vorwald of Edgewood and Scott (Vicki) Vorwald of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; six grandchildren, Christel (Chad) Manson, Christopher (Ashley) Vorwald, Ashley (Gautam) Dhar, Brittany Vorwald, Kayla Vorwald and Brooke Vorwald; two great-grandchildren, Connor Manson and Addalyn Vorwald; one brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Vorwald of Colesburg; and two sisters, Ramona (David) Engelken of New Vienna and Shirley Vorwald of Colesburg.
Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and also 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the church. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Edgewood, by the Rev. Stephen Lundgren. Interment: St. Mark's Catholic Cemetery, Edgewood.
