Robert E. "Bob" Timmerman, 76, of Manchester, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Bohnenkamp- Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Private inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Masonville.
Bob was born July 25, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Everett and Vivian (Parker) Timmerman. He attended elementary school in Masonville, graduating from Edgewood High School in 1958. Bob farmed for over 20 years in the Manchester area. He drove a bus for West Delaware Schools and also helped out at the sale barn whenever needed. Bob was well known for attending most auctions in the area and operated Bob's Antiques in Manchester.
He had a good sense of humor and had a lot of good memories with family and friends. Bob loved his family, and especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his four children, Christina (Kelly) Bawek, Rob Timmerman, Troy (Rachael) Timmerman and Cory (Angelia) Timmerman; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Charlene (Dwight) Beatty; Shirley (John) Cole and Donna Morris.
Bob was preceded in death by parents, Everett Timmerman and Vivian Cornwell; siblings, Diane Riniker and Ron Timmerman; and grandson, Matthew Belk.
