West Chester
Robert L. "Bob" Stout, 88, of rural West Chester, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a lengthy battle with cancer. Celebration of Life services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at West Chester United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Marlene Janssen officiating. Calling hours will begin noon Saturday, March 28, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday. Interment, with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29, will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or the West Chester United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Stout of Washington; son, Kent Stout and wife Michelle of Westborough, Mass.; son, Rob Stout and wife Jean of Washington; nine grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Carlson and husband Luke of Palmyra, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
