Robert Emanuel Snavely, 87, of Tipton, formerly of Pocahontas, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at Manor Care in Dubuque. A visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m. followed by visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. The following day, Thursday, Jan. 10, there will be a Catholic service, to include Mass, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton. There will be a luncheon at St. Mary's Hall following Mass. On Friday, Jan. 11, there will be a visitation at Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. with full military honors at Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas. All are invited to a time of light refreshments at Resurrection of Our Lord Hall following the burial. Online condolences may be shared at www.powersfh.net or www.fryfuneralhome.com.
