Robert K. "Bob" Myers of Plant City, Fla., passed peacefully at home on March 22, 2016.
Bob was born March 17, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Betty) Myers. He graduated from Washington High School and Coe College.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Linda (McCann) Myers; brother, John and sister-in-law Carol Myers of Toddville; children, Kevin (Jennesa) Myers, Keith Myers, Kris (Dani) Myers, Rosalind (Tim) Murray, Laura (Mike) Irwin and Justin (Sara) McCann; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
After a long career in seafood sales, he retired to the things he loved most: life in the country, many building projects (he could build about anything), tinkering with his toy cars and enjoying his pets.
Bob was a charming and talkative guy with a gentle soul, who loved to visit and chat with his many friends and extended family.
Services will be Monday, March 28, at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, Fla. Visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m., with funeral services at 2 p.m.
