Robert G. Miller, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City. Family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Blain Cemetery, Swisher.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Miller; children, Lisa Horrigan and family and Stephanie Miller and family; siblings, Mike Miller, Harry Miller, Steven Miller, Richard Miller, Diane and Lilly; sister-in-law, Connie and family; brothers-in-law, Brian and Steven; grandchildren, Lindsey, William and Loren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edwin and Charlie; and sister, Helen.
Robert was born April 3, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Stefan and Helena (Majaski) Miller. He graduated from Prairie High School. On April 3, 1997, Robert married Janet L. McIntosh in Las Vegas, Nev. He worked for Quaker Oats for 40 years until he retired in 2009.
