Robert spent free time mushroom hunting, antique shopping and attending flea markets as well as spending Sundays driving for ice cream and riding his side by side around the farm and local dirt roads. He supported his kids and grandkids at 4-H shows and was always up for a good game of cards or Dominoes. Robert was involved in many “tractor cades” and he had the grand champion feeder pig truckload at the Iowa Feeder Pig Expo. He was also on the Iowa Barn Quilt list.
