Robert C. Lovetinsky, 90, of Iowa City, died Saturday, May 5, 2018, at his home in Iowa City.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or Iowa City Hospice.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Farrell of Oxford, England; sister and brothers, Bertilla Farrier Of Phoenix, Ariz., Wayne Lovetinsky (Dorothy) of Cedar Rapids, Carlos "John" Lovetinsky (Mary) of North Liberty, Richard Lovetinsky of Kalona and Dean Lovetinsky (Marlee) of Iowa City; sister-in-law, Pauline Lovetinsky of Coralville; and a granddaughter, Lydia Farrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Millie; a brother, Ervin; and an infant sister, Bernice.
