Robert C. Lepird, 81, of Eldora, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, with Pastor Kathy Graves of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. There will be no visitation. Military rites will be conducted by the Mason City Veterans Association.

Robert is survived by his children, Marsha Lepird of Eldora, Tim (RaeJean) Lepird of Carroll and Kim Ward of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Melissa Fontanini, McKenzie Ward, Jeremiah Lepird, Erin Lepird Rush, Joshua Lepird and Jordyn Lepird; great-grandchildren, Emma Marie Volbrecht, Ethan Floyd Fontanini,
Savannah Fontanini and Max Earsa; brother, Richard (Janet Hoppe) Lepird of Estherville; cousin, Terry (Jo) Growcock of Tampa, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Karen.
