Robert L. Harding Sr., 67, of Riverside, died at his home on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
A time for family and friends to gather will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Private family graveside services are being planned at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his memory. Robert Lee Harding Sr. was born Nov. 28, 1949, in Iowa City, the son of Paul and Dorothea Harding. His family includes his children, Pamela Maxwell (Curtis) and Robert Harding Jr.; siblings, Gary Harding (Penny), Audrey Fountain (Chris), Bill Harding (Barby), Ken Harding (Amy), Timm Harding (Elisa), Michele Behrens (Shelly), Lisa Bush and Joseph Bush (Marilyn); grandchildren, Ashley Harding Troge, Christina Almond (Kyle), Ashianna Maxwell and Christopher Harding; and one great-grandson, Tyrone Harding.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dortha Gonterman; father, Paul Harding; and his son, Christopher Harding.
