ROBERT E. VAN DEE Cedar Rapids Robert E. Van Dee, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at the Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 1820 West Post Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids, on June 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Bob is survived by his wife, Penny; children, Beth (Chris) Ayers and Brook (Brett) Sternberg; parents, George and Carol Van Dee; brother, Kevin (Jean) Van Dee; sisters, Paula (Tom) Stacey and Sherry (Lyle) Collingwood; and grandsons, Ryan, Nathan and Cal Ayers. Bob was born June 4, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the owner/operator of Bob's Window Washing Inc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Fur Fun Rescue or the Oldorf Hospice House. The family sends special thanks to Living Center West and the Oldorf Hospice House.
