Robert Duane Jewett, 85, of Duncan, formerly of Quasqueton, Iowa, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2021. He was the loving husband of Joan Donels Jewett for 62 years and the son of the late James and Mabel Hocken Jewett Chesmore.
Robert served our country in the U.S. Army and was a former plant manager at REA Magnet Wire Co. and AEB International Wire. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved fishing and hunting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Shawn Jewett Long, Lindsey Jewett Chase (Mike) and Kelly Jewett; grandson, John "Jack" McCormick; his brother, Harvey Chesmore, Quasqueton, Iowa; and sister, Sandra Hines, Rolo, Mo.
He is predeceased by siblings, Laverne Anstey, Betty Keller, Lee Jewett, Merle Chesmore and Dean Chesmore.
