Robert M. Dallas, 72, of Solon, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, at Mercy Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be at a later date in Keokuk National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Robert was born April 18, 1944, in Philadelphia. On July 28, 1972, he married Janice Wrinkle in Beeville, Texas.
Robert had been employed by Rockwell Collins until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; their sons, Marcus (Laura) Dallas of Iowa City and Robert (Laura) Dallas Jr. of Watertown, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Ruby; and his brother, James.
