Robert D. Sacora, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial with military rites will be held in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
Survivors include his former wife of 28 years, Betty Chapman; and many special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and four brothers.
Robert Dean Sacora was born June 19, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Ira and Mabel (Milsap) Sacora. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Bob co-owned and operated Sacora Painting for many years.
Memorial donations may be given in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
