Robert Cooling, 23, of Solon, died Friday, April 25, 2014, in the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Services: Private. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Kenneth Cooling of Solon and Donna Stanford of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Tiffany Langton of Cedar Rapids, Jeffery (Amanda) Cooling of Cedar Rapids, Rachael Cooling of Solon, twin brothers, Jacob and Riley Cooling of Cedar Rapids and Samantha Cooling of Solon; his grandmother, Bobbie Huges of Monticello; grandfather, Dale Cooling of Solon; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his pet, black lab, Barbie; and pet cat, Brandit.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Huges; and grandmother, Marie Harrington.

Robert was born May 27, 1990, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Donna (Huges) Cooling. In his spare time, he enjoyed music and playing videos. Robert loved his friends. He was a friend to all. He faced each day with courage, dignity and brightened the lives of everyone he met. He truly left an eternal impact on earth and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
