Robert "Bob" Stanley Ramoska Sr., of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service.
Bob was born March 28, 1948, the son of Gerard and Victoria (Steponaitis) Ramoska, in Chicago, Ill. On Oct. 3, 1971, he was married to Pamela Blandi. Bob worked for Alside Supply Center as a window technician. He greatly enjoyed many fishing trips to Wisconsin as well as trips to Las Vegas. In the summer, Bob could be found out in his garden. More than anything, he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Bob can be remembered as always having a Pepsi in one hand.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Ramoska; son, Robert (Erin) Ramoska Jr.; two grandchildren, Robert III and Reilley; sister, Annette Etheridge; twin brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Ramoska; nieces and nephews, Gina, Theresa, Johnny, Dennis, Elizabeth and Cyndi; several greats; brother-in-law, Bill Etheridge; and brother- and sister-in-law, Jay and Bonita Gribauskas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Brandon.
