Robert Dean "Bob" Lutz, 86, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at his home in Vinton. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Blessed Hope Church in Vinton. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, and one hour before services Friday all at the church. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton, with military rites by Vinton's American Legion Post 57 and Iowa Military Funeral Honors.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol of Vinton; son, Ron (Deb) Lutz of Vinton; daughter, Lisa Lutz of Brandon; a brother, Clarence A. Lutz of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; a sister, Elberta LeVine of Germantown, Wis.; one grandchild; and one stepgrandchild.
Memorials may be directed to Blessed Hope Church or the Vinton American Legion Post 57.
